1.1. Materials for ELECTROTECHNICS

For current transfer we offer Graphite, Electro-graphite, Copper-graphite, Silver-graphite, Carbon-graphite and Bakelite-graphite. The ranges of basic material characteristics are listed in the table below:

1.5. Carbon and graphite SPECIALITIES

In this category you can find materials with carbon fibers (composites, foils and felts, cords and braids, ...) , materials such as boroncarbid, wolframcarbide and composite-carbide. Graphite spray and emulsion are newly available.
COMPOSITES have very high strength (flexural strength up to 185 N/mm2, compressive strength up to 350 N/mm2) and maintain all conventional graphite characteristics . Therefore they are more frequently used in those instances, where high-strength materials and materials with high thermal resistivity and stability are required.
We have a full range of carbon and graphite foils, felts, cords, and braids for thermal insulation and for sealing components
Boroncarbid and similar materials are most often used for production of shot blast nozzles.
